Flory Godinez brings a rare perspective to her Suzuki Violin Teacher Training Courses. At the beginning of her study with Dr. Shinichi Suzuki at his music school in Japan, she asked him to teach her every piece in his violin books, and guide her through the teaching points and reasons why every piece was there. During those two years, Dr. Suzuki took her through every piece in violin books 1-8. With this as the foundation, plus input from other teachers, parents and children over many years, Flory has gleaned teaching tactics that she is able to tailor to each student and, as Dr. Suzuki would say, "develop the talent that lies within".
